Ina-Garten
Ina Garten has been an acclaimed American cook book author for many years. Ina is also the Emmy-winning host of Food Networks longest running show Barefoot Contessa that began in 2002. Ina was employed at the White House as a writer of nuclear energy policy documents and also the budget. Although she initially found it intellectually stimulating she eventually stopped her interest. So she purchased an Barefoot Contessa a small speciality food store. It took her 18 years to make her shop wildly successful, before she closed the business. After that, she started writing her first cookbook. A number of other cookbooks and magazine columns came later. In the meantime she also had her own Food Network show was also successful. The company sells numerous products, from ingredients for cooking to kitchenware and storage. Ina has never been to any cooking school, nor employed in a restaurant, and is completely self-taught. Ina is well-known as an easy cook, and also for her entertaining cooking style. Her most popular recipes include Skillet-Roasted lemon chicken and Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & Cheese Beef Bouguignon, the Balsamic Roasted Brussels Sprouts & Lemon Bars.
