David Muir (born August 25, 1949) is an American journalist, anchor and anchor and reporter. He is most well-known for World News Tonight. Seen by millions of Americans David Muir's program is known for its gossipy celebrity videos as well as animated gestures. Made In America, his Emmy nominated show, is another of his many accomplishments. Before taking on ABC World News Tonight, He was the main replacement for the show's founder Diane Sawyer. The primetime newscasts for ABC News include Breaking Point: Heroin in America, Flashpoint Refugees in America. He's traveled the world, reporting on news from Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti & the Gulf of Mexico. He's been awarded numerous Emmy Awards Edward R. Murrow Awards along with honors and awards from The Associated Press.
