Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise has been a writer, singer, and actress in the US for the past forty years. Most famously, she is known for her character Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV series Gilligan's Island). Her Two's Company musical was the first show she performed in during her stage debut. Later, in 1956, she had her breakthrough with a performance on Broadway along with Li'l abner. The same year, She released Her first album of music It's time for Tina. Louise first made it to Hollywood in the role of Griselda Walden, in God's Big Acre, a drama from 1957. This movie was a big hit and Louise even won the Golden Globe Award at the New Star of the Award category. In this time she attended the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her tutor. In 1964, she signed to CBS as a character, Ginger Grant. Louise was a success in Hollywood as well as Broadway in roles that were more serious that reflected her reputation as a glamour doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1, and Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. Recently she's also been the most sought-after director for popular television shows like Supernatural or The 100. Her family moved to Essex to Toronto, where she spent childhood and adolescence. Following her selection for the role of Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997. She is a resident of Vancouver ever for the last ten years.
